NPGFS will be offering a winter clinic. All aspects of the game will be taught. The 22 week program will begin on November 4th and continue on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm until March 30th. It will be held at Sherwood Ultra Sports Facility located at 1314 Fall River Avenue in Seekonk, MA. Cost will be $250.00, if paid in full or $50.00 monthly. Pitch Hit and Run
On May 21, 2010 North Providence sent their winners of the local PHR to McCoy to compete against other top winners in the State. The girls from NP rocked the house with some of the highest scores of the day. NP had the top scores in most of the categories. NP took the top overall winners in three of the four age groups ( 7&8, 9&10 and the 11&12). It was a fantastic day for the girls and the league. A few days later we found out from MLB that our three overall winners will be moving on to Fenway Park on June 4th to compete in the Regional’s with a chance to go to the All-Star game to compete against the top winners in the Country. To have one girl move on to the Regional’s is a great achievement but to have three is unheard of.
